From decorating delicious biscuits and getting into the Christmas spirit with face painting, to meeting your favorite holiday characters in person, there's something for every child to enjoy. Biscuit Decorating
Biscuit Decorating with Sarah B | Get ready to indulge your little elves in a cookie decorating extravaganza this holiday season, courtesy of the fabulous 'Biscuits by Sarah B'!
Whether your mini-bakers are seasoned biscuit artists or just dipping their toes into the icing adventure, Sarah's got their backs. With her magical guidance, your kiddos will transform plain biscuits into six adorable, edible pieces of festive art that'll make your taste buds do a jolly jig!
These sweet masterpieces aren't just delicious; they're also the perfect keepsake from your memorable visit to the Bournemouth Christmas Market.
Please note : As these classes take place upstairs in the Alpine Lodge, they are not accessible by wheelchair. Buggies and pushchairs can be stored downstairs in the Alpine Lodge.
Craft Classes
‘Made By Me Craft Parties' with Lexy’ | I’m Lexy and I create fun, beautiful and personalised craft parties for children!. I’ve also developed a range of gorgeous craft kits and DIY party kits so that everyone can have piece of Made By Me magic.
Please note : As these classes take place upstairs in the Alpine Lodge they not accessible by wheelchair. Buggies and Pushchairs can be stored downstairs in the Alpine Lodge.

Face Painting
Join us every Sunday in the Alpine Lodge for free face painting, courtesy of Pixie Paint!
You can find her downstairs in the Alpine Lodge between 11am - 1pm. Please note, this is for children on a first come first serve basis, there may be a wait time.

Introducing our brand-new Christmas in Bournemouth Kids Booklet – packed full of festive fun for the whole family! Dive into exciting quizzes, giggle at silly Christmas jokes, and embark on a magical scavenger hunt around the market. Plus, there's an amazing chance to win a family holiday with Shorefield Estates! Simply pick up your booklet from the Lodge, follow the enchanting trail, and submit your entries to be in with a chance to win. It’s a wonderful way to make memories and enjoy the season together – let the Christmas adventure begin!
Character Visits
Join us at Bournemouth Christmas Market for an extra sprinkle of festive magic as some of your children’s favourite characters come to life! This year, we’re thrilled to welcome the talented team from Minky Moos, who’ll be bringing beloved fairies, elves, and even the enchanting Elsa to roam around the market, delighting little ones and families alike. These festive friends will be spreading cheer, posing for photos, and sharing holiday joy with all our visitors. Be sure to check below for their scheduled appearances, so you don’t miss a chance to meet them and make holiday memories together!
